Terms & Conditions

In the following, terms & conditions “the photographer” shall mean Colin Leonard Photography.
“The client(s)” shall be those persons who have booked our services. These terms and conditions cannot be changed in any way by the client(s) unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer in writing.

Copyright

Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of the photographer/s in writing.
Where a printing licence has been given, all the images are supplied on the understanding that they are for personal use only, meaning you are free to print your own but not to sell on at a commercial profit, or to pass the images off as your own creations. Colin Leonard Photography is the owner to the copyright.

Booking Fee

Weddings

The booking fee of £150.00 is paid in part payment of the package fee to secure a date, and in the event of the client cancelling this fee is not returnable.
If the photographer needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances the booking fee will be returned to the client.

All Other Bookings

The booking fee is paid to secure the booking and in the event of the client cancelling, this fee is not returnable.
If the photographer needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances the booking fee will be returned to the client.

Payment

Weddings
The remaining balance (minus the booking fee) is split in to 2 equal payments, the first due by the wedding date & the final payment due right at the end when the client receives the album or USB.

All Other Bookings
Any orders or outstanding balance is due when the client receives their order

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing, email is also accepted but will be followed up with a phone call.
Where no package has been specified, it will be deemed that the client(s) have chosen a package to the value of £850.

Cancellation within 14 days prior to the booked date will result in full payment due for the complete photographic coverage booked. The client(s) are hereby advised to take out an appropriate insurance policy to cover any expenses incurred in the event of cancellation. When a wedding has been postponed (rather than cancelled) to a later date the photographer will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. Where the photographer is able to re-book the date with an equivalent booking to the same value then the cancellation fee will be reduced to just the original booking fee only.

Cancellation within 6 months prior to the booked date will result in 50% of the remaining balance due for the complete photographic coverage booked.
The client(s) are hereby advised to take out an appropriate insurance policy to cover any expenses incurred in the event of cancellation. When a wedding has been postponed (rather than cancelled) to a later date the photographer will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. Where the photographer is able to re-book the date with an equivalent booking to the same value then the cancellation fee will be reduced to just the original booking fee only.

Cancellation within 12 months prior to the booked date will result in no other payments due.
When a wedding has been postponed (rather than cancelled) to a later date the photographer will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. Where the photographer is able to re-book the date then the booking fee will also be returned to the client.

If the photographer needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances all fees will be returned to the client.

Album Design

All album designs are sent over online for the client/s to view, you are allowed 2 rounds of changes if needed
After this there is a design charge or £25 per round & o
nce the album design is approved & as such signed off, the album design is final and cannot be changed as this is a bespoke product.

Standards & Quality

Sizes quoted are approximate & that the materials used may not always span across the whole colour range in a subject. All digital images are supplied edited to our standard grade using calibrated screens.
Where a album cover is not available due to suppliers stock at the order time the photographer will source an alternative which the client will be told about. If the client is unhappy with any services or products it is advised to contact us as soon as possible to resolve any issues.
